History

Camco Petroleum Services Inc. was established in Libya in 1989 as a joint venture between Edgo and Camco International. In 1994 Camco became a wholly owned subsidiary of Edgo.

Camco began its operations by offering Slickline and Completion Services to the oil industry in Libya and immediately gained a large proportion of the slickline market. This was as a result of both the quality of the service and of the continued efforts and focus in providing customised solutions. Over the years, Camco has expanded its operation and is now providing Production Logging, Cased Hole Logging, Surface Well Testing and Perforation Services.
