Sondex is Camco’s main provider of Production Logging and Cased Hole equipment, as well as the data acquisition systems for the downhole equipment.
In 2007 Sondex were acquired by General Electric (GE) and now form part of the new Oilfield Technology group. Prior to acquisition, Sondex had some 450 employees across nine countries, including highly qualified development staff, experienced former service company field support staff and a quality focused production management team. Much of the equipment manufacture is carried out through highly experienced specialist sub-contractors.
Over the years Sondex has earned an excellent reputation for designing, developing and engineering high quality, performance tools for the oil and gas industry, and for supporting the tools with exceptional customer service.
Sondex has grown, becoming a leading Oil & Gas industry technology group through the acquisition of a number of leading oil industry businesses. The product range is enhanced continually, with over 10% of revenues spent on Research and Development.
The Sondex headquarters are located in Hampshire, UK. The group has sales and technical support offices in nine locations around the world. Research and Development facilities are located in the UK and Canada.
